For propagation and maintenance of E. Coli. Low Salt Formula. Molecular Biology Grade.
Dissolve 20 grams in 1 liter distilled water. Then adjust the pH to 7.2. Heat and frequently agitate to completely dissolve. Material is specially granulated to reduce dust and increase solubility rate. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes.

RPI media is now available in convenient premeasured and pre-mixed capsules. Prebuffered media eliminates pH adjustments. Capsules contain all necessary ingredients for maintenance and propagation of E. coli.
Simply add 2 x 500 mL capsules to one liter of water, sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes at 121°C. Supplied as 40 gm capsule.

Yeast Extract: 5 g/l
Agar: 15 g/l

RPI Media is now available in convenient pre-measured and pre-mixed capsules. Prebuffered media eliminates messy weighing and pH adjustments.
Simply dissolve 25 capsules per 1 Liter of distilled water. Water must be 37°C or warmer to completely dissolve gelatin capsule. Agitate. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes before use. Buffer is set for 7.0 ± 0.2 at 25°C using a 10mM solution of Tris/Tris HCl. pH will vary depending on temperature.

Malt Extract Agar is used for the isolation, cultivation and maintenance of yeasts and molds. Formulation is similar to Malt Extract Broth with the addition of agar and glycerol. This broth medium was recommended by Thom and Church for the cultivation of fungi. Its low acidity inhibits the growth of most bacteria. The high carbohydrate content enhances the rapid growth of fungi and yeasts.
Dissolve 33.6 grams in 1 liter of distilled water. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes.

Dextrin: 2.75 g/L
Peptone: 0.78 g/L
Final pH (25°C): 4.6 ± 0.2

Andwin Scientific BACTERIOLOGICAL AGAR 500 G
The Bacteriological Agar is a solidification agent that can be used for the preparation of microbiological culture media. Most of microorganisms are not able to digest agar and thus making it an excellent solidifying agent. This product is acquired from certain species of marine red algae including Gelidium, Pterocladia, and Gracilaria. The agar has a white cream appearance and has a pH of 5.9 @ 20C. It is sold in the quantity of 500 grams.
